PrivaZy

“Privacy by Gen Z, for Gen Z..”

Model & Strategy.

Descriptor.

PrivaZy is a community-centered, media-based movement to raise awareness about and address the online privacy issues faced by Gen Zers.

Problem.

Online privacy isn't a new concern, but in academic, governmental, and corporate settings where privacy decisions are made, young people aren't well represented. On top of that, those of us who grew up with the Internet—Generation Zers—aren't listening to privacy research and advocacy, can't understand when we do, have become desensitized to the data collection that’s been happening our whole lives, or lack the resources to tackle these issues.

Solution.

PrivaZy is a movement and a resource hub that addresses the consequences of online surveillance with a focus on Gen Z perspectives, and works toward a better privacy future for ourselves and next generations. Through our survey, podcast, workshops, and community-building events, we want to understand how privacy affects us, and empower each other to change the status quo.
