Model & Strategy.

Descriptor.

Niyamat is a 21-day digital wellness challenge comprising activities involving art, music and storytelling that empowers young people to regulate their use of digital media in healthy and productive ways..

Problem.

Everyday, millions of Gen Z and millennials worldwide log on through their smartphones, tables, computers and gaming systems. Young people are increasingly getting addicted to their devices, directly impacting their physical and mental health often without realizing it.
Screens are integrated into our daily lives
— they are in our pockets, atop classroom
desks, on our wrists, inside our cars, and
in the hands of the youngest children and
even babies. Through Niyamat, we help people explore their personal relationship with the internet and reclaim their time and attention by revisiting the simplicity of childhood for a while. Leave your phones behind and come fly paper planes with us at Niyamat!

Solution.

At Niyamat, we encourage our audiences to tell us their story through art, music and poetry and find a digital-life balance that works for us, together. This is achieved through the following four modules:

INSTAGRAM IRL
Art booth: Make the best out of waste! You’ve got Mother Nature’s like already.

FACEBOOK IRL
Storytelling booth: In a world of reposts and reshares, be an original. Share your experiences through the Human Library, and maybe even make a new friend.

TWITTER IRL
Poetry booth: Write your hearts out: we won’t ask you to stick to 140 characters. Prompts and themes will be provided!

REDDIT IRL
Games booth: Board games won’t strain your eyes, and you get to create memes with a purpose that don't hurt or humiliate anyone - truly r/dank.
